I'm still not happy about this. Belfour is a loose cannon, and I wanted to cry when I heard the Leafs signed him. I hope he proves me wrong, but I have a feeling I'll be cringing for most of the season.

Yeah, he is a bit pissy at best, but I think it had to do more with the coaching style. Everyone thought he was going to retire, but oh well...

I was and am still totally pissed about letting Cujo get away, and signing "first shot" Eddie. He's now let in the first shot on net in in his first three debuts (scrimmage, intra-squad, and exhibition). He stunk out the joint last night against Ottawa, but then again, it wasn't just him...

It would be against Calgary... which makes sense, since the Battle of Alberta (all 10 of them in a season) usually sell out fast. I have my Tickets for the April 4th game already.

You know, I totally agree with this statement. Hockey out here blows-

They play "Werewolf in London" song for the howls.. I just want to scream at the bunch a freaks- "that howl is not a freakin' coyote people- that's a g*ddamned WEREWOLF!!"

Beyond that, they couldn't even beat the Canucks. And did anyone see that Atlanta actually pulled it off and beat San Jose? Atlanta?

    Sigh ...

From the looks of things, next year hockey fans in Buffalo may be cheering on the Maple Leafs.

I just can't see that happening...

I don't know what jukskei is, but I know that hockey is "ballet on ice". Only with bone-crunching bodychecks and fighting (well, until this season anyway).

Actually, the most realistic location on the West Coast for untapped media markets is Portland. Plus, they already have the Rose Garden with good financial support (owned by Paul Allen). We almost had the Portland Penguins two years ago.
