    Sign regulations and corporate logo

I am looking for any information where I can prove that the 7-11 stripes (red, green, orange) are part of their franchise marketing program and corporate logo, and therefore could be part of the sign copy area, which would make designers adhere to sign regulations, thereby limitng the stripes.

Thanks in advance to all respondents.

    Sign regulations and Corporate logo

I know that cities like Park City, Utah, JacksonHole, Wyoming and others have successfully limited 'corporate logos'. In fact, 7-11 in Park City, Utah has a sign which is hand carved. Their method was to require certain archtectural standards which preserved their character.

You might be better of by just changing your regulations to read "No 7-11's". That way you don't have to create some veil for restricting who you want or don't want.
