I´m doing a Msc Thesis about "Urban Agents and the recent transformations", in the University of Oporto (Portugal) and i would like to receive recent bibliography about this.

The main topic of the thesis is to understand the urban planning conflicts from the point of view of the urban agents, what kind of urban images and urban strategic ideias they have.

Most of the urban planning studies has been directed to understand the transformations of the urban patterns and try to define directives for the transformation, what we can define has the regulation process of urban transformation.

The process of urban transformation is getting very dinamic, and planning process and the urban plans are tasting a lot of difficulties (well, at least here in most of the West European cowntries).

So the idea is to try to understand from the point of view of the urban enterpreneur
what are most relevant ideas and strategies to transform cities.

More, i would like to understand who is behind this process (bank's, ensurance
companies,..), and what are the main facts that urban planning process as to understand to create more realistic activity.

If anyone has already studied this matter i would like very much to change ideias and information.
