Earl,

Did you see Berh's message on Perry?? Sounds like he is doing better, but has some hard work ahead of him. I saw your message on the marathon at the arctic circle. How cold was it that day? Your Cubs are playing some good ball lately. Thought maybe we should start up a few meaningful discussions on planning related topics that would keep the shop moving until Perry returns. Got any hot topics in the Alaskan area that we could open for discussion? I have a few relating to water resources development and its effects on small communities. When you get a chance return some thoughts. Gus Drum

Gus and Planners around the globe:

I have just returned from a great three-week vacation in the Midwest Heartland.
Difficult to get back in the swing of things.

Makes me think -----we could discuss, or discuss further:

1. Burnout
2. Leaves of Absence
3. Retooling
4. Planners as Human Beings
5. Stop and smell the roses, or the ivy at Wrigley Field.

More later.

Glad that Perry is improved.
