Help! I'm a field staff liaison rep for Congressional Rep. Louise Royball-Allard. I was approached this afternoon by a citizen who is in the process of having his property condemned by a school district.
He doesn't have much money, but is in desparate need to become educated on the eminent domain process and what are his rights in this process.
I am reluctant to refer him to an attorney at this point, but I'm hoping that there are planning advocacy groups or non-profits that are available that he can tap into.
Does anyone know of such groups or organizations within the Los Angeles County area? Your assistance in this matter would be extremely appreciated.
