They just let you leave with the baby!!!
On Monday, November 5, 2005 Mr. Hab and I welcomed our daughter into the world. She was two weeks early and weighed in at a petite 7lbs1oz and 20.5 inches long. Labor was easy, only 11 minutes of pushing and I feel great (but don't tell anyone, I still want to stay out of work until January!). Life doesn't get better than this.

She's beautiful! Wasn't that an "oh crap" moment getting into the car and leaving the hospital?! Everything seemed so surreal up to that point. We made it half way home (about ten minutes) and pulled over to make sure Josie was ok because she was so quiet.

When we brought our youngest home, the very first night, I woke up in the morning and thought, *Oh, I'm in for it, I didn't get up with the baby once all night*. Brought her downstairs and let Mrs. G sleep in. She comes down and apologizes for not getting up with the baby once all night. We look at each other and think "WE GOT A SLEEPER!!!" We had that thought knocked right out of us the very next night.
*Kinsley* is a great name. Best wishes to all the Habs for a long, happy life together.
