MONTREAL in NOVEMBER :: snow, rain, sun, leaves :: 89 photos :: broadband

november is generally a shitty month, doubly so when it comes to photography. the sun setting at 4:15 in the afternoon is bad enough, but november is also gloomy, wet and people retreat indoors as the days become chilly and dark.

so with that cheery introduction, enjoy!

    see you in a month.

Anyone know if that Projet Montreal got off the ground? As I understand it was attached to a particular party in municipal elections - elections that I would have thought to be done by now...

projet montreal was the party, actually. it made a modest breakthrough, with its leader earning about 9% of the vote for mayor (lower than expected) and gaining two council seats (more than expected). it also came second in a number of council races on the plateau, downtown and in NDG.

Great shots as usual, Chris. Beats the heck out of my Denver shots.

I have to admit, I was looking forward to your next thread, thanks much!

Any pics of the Bell Centre and/or the area around it?

You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone
