    New here and a question

Hi, I'm from the Denver area and am looking to find a master's program that is completely on-line. Don't know if that's too far-fetched, but given internet capabilities, I think it should be available.

If you know of any, would you let me know?

Seems to be a great site so far. Thanks for the opportunity.

    Welcome from the Florida panhandle.

Does The Ohio State University have an on-line program? They have something on-line.

Welcome from Severance. (Fort Collins area) Good to see a Colorado pack is growing. Enjoy yourself, don't feed the Bear, the Tuna is not dolphin safe so just ignore him, and if your suburbs are not performing to their full potential, we have a Repairman for that.

I posed this question a while back and someone gave me the name of an Iowa State University.
You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone

    Welcome!
If you do a search of the student forum, you should come across a few discussions about online degrees. Good luck.

    Thank you all....

I appreciate the info and leads for on-line master's programs. I need to get the degree, but being on "plannertime" which you all know is 40 hours plus extra plus night meetings, I am prevented from actually going to the school location.

Thanks to everyone, esp zman and tuna, and you don't have to worry about me...I think this chick can hold her own with you two...

No night meetings for me; they cut into cocktail hour. I look for work places that only hold day meetings.

    Hello from Florida.

I got my planning degree there few years ago. The campus is about 25 minutes from Golden, isn't it? I remember most of the classes start at 5-something p.m. or even later. But I understand it's always hard to go to class after work and fighting with bad traffic. The planners in my office don't work that late... oh wait a minute.... you work for the county? I have so many wonderful memories in Denver except the terribly bad interview experience with the county.... Heehee...

Hi from central Florida! Sorry, I know nothing about online degrees. We were still using punch cards when I was in college...

Welcome from a neighboring city in Colorado.

With all of the Coloradans here lately, is it time for another Colorado Laefest?

    I work for...

Aha, it would be wrong to assume I work for the county. I work for the city of Golden, hence the name. Although I visit the Taj, (which seems to always be the revolving door) the wild west is alive and well in Golden as most citizens hold property rights above all...

You're a nice bunch of people, I look forward to chatting more.

Welcome...there are a number of on-line Master's programs for planning. Planetizen often times has ads for them.
