Thread: Favorite Pop (Soda)

  1. #1

    Favorite Pop (Soda)

I have to say I don't drink pop often, but when I do, I prefer any of the clear pops like Sprite, 7-Up or Sierra Mist.
I have drinking ALOT of Cherry 7-UP Plus lately, must be something addicting in that Splenda.

Sorry that there was a previous poll, however, I think this one is more specific, although I did forget Mr. Pibb and Dr. Pepper.

Cyburbians seem to prefer cola. Personally, my tastes are running to ginger ale and grapefruit soda lately.

I am a big soda drinker and like almost all kinds (prefer regular but drink diet ) rootbeer, cola, mountain dew, dr. pepper...I am not a big fan of fruit flavored sodas (at all) such as: grape, orange or strawberry.

WHAT! No Dr. Pepper! All the Texas people will vote for that, if it was on the list.

Let me put it to you this way. I don't have blood flowing through my veins, I have diet Coke, with a small amount of Diet DR. Pepper thanks to the Mrs.

Root Beer Freak, though it makes me burp something fierce. Also love Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew.... hmmmm, haven't had either of those in 3 or 4 years...

There is a very rare occassion that I will drink a soda.

Having grown up with a "one a day" limit imposed by my folks, and only Diet Sodas in the house, I have been conditioned to only partake in the occassional Diet Pepsi.

Sometimes, about 1% of the time, I will get a mad craving for a regular Coca-Cola. But that is rare, and I will usually just grab one from a machine in the building.

all things equal, it is Coca-Cola.

though Fanta Orange in Europe is real good too.

I drink mostly Coke. I prefer the taste of Dr. Pepper, but the stuff is carbonated prune juice.

    Stewart's Ginger Beer.

    With lime.

And a generous helping of dark rum.

Wow I thought I'd be the only Vernor's drinker. That was my only available selection as Faygo was left off the list.

Where the he%& is Fresca? Nothing beats ice-cold grapefruit soda on a hot summer day.

I have to say that I had never seen many people drink real (non-diet) Coke until I moved to the South. Is it really that much of a sacrifice to order a Diet Coke?

I see people drinking real Coke at 8:00am down here. Ewwww.

I voted Dr. Pepper, but wanted to ask this:

Does anybody recall chocolate-flavored soda pop from the early 1970s? I'm thinking it was by a company called Shasta. It was the WORST thing I've ever drank in my entire life. Blecccccchhhhhhhh

I remember thinking "my two favorite things, chocolate & soda", how dissapointing, it was very disgusting

Do you happen to remember where in Denver that deli was ?

The deli was the New York Deli News on Hampden Ave near Tamarac. Mind you, this is East of I-25. I assume that it is still there, but I haven't been by there in a while.

I love Cel-Ray although rarely drink soda. If I do have a soda on a rare occasion it is a Ginger Ale or Fresca.

I learned quickly upon moving down south 7 years ago that it is the southern substitute for a cup-o-joe. That is why we do not see a dunkin'donuts or starbucks on every corner.

I'm loyal to Coca Cola and Dr. Pepper/7Up products.

I'm also a big fan of root beer. A&W is my favorite out of the big companies. But a lot of the smaller companies and home-brewed types are the best. Berghoff is by far my favorite brand of root beer. It's popular in the IL-WI area.
