I don't own a TV. That being said, I'm looking forward to downloading new episodes of Lost. And that's it.

    24. It's the only show I continue to watch regularly.

This Bear will continue to watch old movies (VHS, DVD, Turner Classic Channel), football, hockey, History Channel, some home-improvement views, the news, the weather. I watch very little network TV. (Network TV seems so bland.)

I am looking forward to the March, 2006, new season of HBO's "The Sopranos". Now that is "must see" TV.

only jordanb is allowed to say that around here.

While I own a TV, I don't have cable and onyl get about 5 stations, so I've not watched much TV over the past year.

None of the mid-season tv premieres interest me.

I'll stick with watching How I Met Your Mother on Monday nights, That 70's Show on Wednesday nights, ER on Thursday nights, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Grey's Anatomy on Sunday nights.

Battlestar Galactica is back for the second half of its season! Damn good show. One of my two hours a week. I'll watch Scrubs but it has lost its edge.

    Yawn...

I'll stay away from predicable, mind-numbing TV shows this year...

Give me a good book instead.

Especially since the Television "Event" of 24 took Family Guy off last night...

Yes! The 4 hour premiere was so insane!

Well, I am bored this afternoon so I thought I'd summarize some first impressions of the mid-season shows:

Scrubs: Man, it really seems to really have lost its hilarity.... Are they just trying too hard these days? The humor seems to be childish and NOT funny... This used to be one of my favorite shows, I hope it gets better.

Psychic detectives : still creeping me out this season. They have stayed true.

24: Surpassing all expectations... what can i say?

The Shield : Man, Forest Whitaker rocks! 'Nuff said.

    ---

I just can't understand what happened to scrubs. Something tells me that peoples egos and money issues are getting in the way though... Also makes me wonder why they didn't start in the fall....

Is it too late to start? Maybe a marathon....

Season 1 and the miniseries are out on DVD, and so is the first half of season 2. I highly recommend it....easily my favorite show on the tube these days (at least until the Sopranos season starts).
