Not enough of them in my opinion, I'll post a poll asking whether your question is appropriate

Dude, you need a poll for your poll.

Poll threads are typically some of the most visited threads in the FAC. Got a slow day there's always some significant issue to be dealt with in a poll. Which do you prefer - paper or plastic, standard vs manual, north or south, Dr. Suess or Tolstoy. The possibilities are limitless!
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

I think the Poles are a very fine group of people.

This Bear certainly has introduced a tall stack of threads, but only a few have had polls attached. I participate in some of them. Some are pretty cool, especially if you read the wording of the poll questions.

I am suprised that RJ doesn't issue more polls. After all, his signature was refering to a "pollside fondler".

Polls provide with over 10% more nutrients than regular threads. Although it depends, good polls shouldn't have a majority vote for Other... that just makes it a bad made poll.

I think we need to start polling the quality of our polls by doing another poll.

Seriously speaking, polls do create some minor problems in the navigation of the forums, since the system marks them unread if someone votes, but that doesn't imply that there are new opinions on the poll. I wonder if theres a fix for that...you know like putting 2 times... one of the last vote and another for the last post with the posters name.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
