I searched a bit knowing there has to be a thread about planning goofs but didn't find one.
Here goes... give me your best.
Certainly, as we have gone into new offices we have found some fairly large blunders.
Here is the best I have found so far.
A lawyer inquired the other day about a piece of property that was split off a few years back.
Current Zoning Agricultural - Requiring 600 ft minimum width.
Newly created lot 20ft x 48 ft
Frontage only to I-70
There is a billboard on the property
Building permit issued by previous administrator for a shed.
Evidently the 99 year lease for the bill board says that if there is a residential structure built on the property the lease can be broken. Although the BP was issued it was never built.
Oh and there was also a call about a 500 ft cell tower that was built with no BP or Conditional Use.
Welcome to my life!
Give me your best!
