This comes from an email I received this morning regarding a public records request.
It's always our fault.As for agenda documents being online -- I really appreciate the fact the county puts some documents online because if I could print them, it certainly would be a lot cheaper than the county charges for copies. However, the system the county uses is too technically advanced for my home computer to print the documents. Just opening the documents is time-consuming. And trying to read online with my eyesight is not feasible.
But, as public comments at the meetings over the past few years have disclosed, it isn't just my computer. An untold segment of the public is unable to use the Internet to access public documents because of the county's equipment.
