What are you going to use your refund for?

Some are buying toys, some are buying stuff for your house, and some are not sure where it went.

What about you? What are you using your Tax Return for?

This post assumes were getting refunds. I guess I first need to finish my taxes before I posted here, but if I do get a refund here is what I use it for.

    1) Pay the CPA

If there is money left of a sizeable ($200+) amount which is unusal

2A) Slpit it and put it towards our Roth IRA

If there is less than $200 left

2B) Spend it joyfully by eating good and drinking

Well being that refunds are just that REfund-money you should have kept in your bank to start with Im droping the tiny amount (under 100) back in the bank. The best thing to do is set yourself up not to pay or get anything back

Why let the man have your money for a year intrest free?
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Ben Franklin

Remember this motto to live by: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO- HOO what a ride!'"

All depends on how much I get back, if anything.

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. We do not even have a clue as to how much we are getting back (or owe for that matter. Probably just save it for finishing touches to the house - blinds, landscaping, etc.

    Don't forget beer

Mine's not big enough to consider. It will just get folded into the checking account and melt away.

Change "Women" to wife and you'll have how I've been using my refund.

Perhaps it's my hedonistic streak, but I view my, no so large, federal refund as a little extra treat to be spent on nights out on the town out and those little things I wouldn't ordinarily buy.

State, Federal, and property tax refunds from this year pay the entire property tax with a little left over for home insurance.

My tax return is going toward paying off cars early. This time next year my car should be fully paid off (throwing an extra 1K a month at it) and the Mrs. car will be about 1/2 taken care of.
