    Association of Urban Anthropologists?

    Hi,

I'm making an inquiry on behalf of my boss: in conversation with an architect, he mentioned being a member of the Association of Urban Anthrolpologists (or, possibly, the Association of Urban Archaeologists.) Does anyone have any information about this organization?

    Thanks a lot.

I was an undergrad anthropology major and I don't recall there actually being a formal organization aptly named. However, urban anthropology is one of many subdisciplines under the umbrella of applied cultural anthropology. The best resource for more information relating to the subject is the American Anthropological Association.
