At first I was pissed off since I had just achieved membership in the clube and then it was taken away from me. But then I saw my post count was about 50% non-FAC and also that I now rank higher in posts than I did before, so I'm not that mad.

And now we can see who the real slackers are, too!

I have a few minutes away from the porcelain throne to do some math. Based on my recollection of how many posts I had, I figure Iím at 20 percent (posts outside of FAC).

I donít see the new policy altering my ratio. One good thing about this: I have more posts than ZG now! Which also means her percentage outside-FAC isÖ..

I just figured that mine was about 30% outside of FAC, but I always try to post in the other threads, and would have extected a lot higher. Hmmmm.........

    Truly Inspired!

As a relatively modest poster I naturally was concerned as it would de-motivate my "slackness."

Am I the only one who had to take a little pink pill to cope with the trauma?

Does this mean that Chet is going to have to give back teh slackipants?

I'm the prototypical poster: for every one in the academic forums, I have two in the FAC. And I like it like that.

You should have read the frantic text message I received from ZG this morning. Then I pointed out the date on your post. Funny stuff.

Looks like I better get busy in the FAC.......what a bummer......

But good one Dan......nice execution and follow through.....not to mention patience Oh and it had the added side effect of exposing all those post padding slackers out there

You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone

I was actually surprised. I thought 90% of my posts would be in the FAC. But I was not surprised by jordanb's kindness in dealing with his fellow Cyburbians.

Great idea! Hope it makes a difference in the "other" forums.....that's if it's not a prank.

Aww I missed it... Welll I wouldn't have been happy when my post count appeared practically completely vanished... I don't think my non FAC posts are even 1% of my total post count... but whatever... like post count is important....

I wouldn't be sad if Dan took it out of sight from our post information (making it only available in the members list). And I think that would help reduce the post padding.
