    Greetings from Cape Cod

Greetings from Harwich, MA, about halfway out on the south side of Cape Cod. I am the Planner for the Town of Harwich and look forward to participating in these forums. I am especially interested in planning in seasonal/resort communities, planning for an aging population (median age -- 47), providing creative solutions to affordable housing, and small town TDR.

Welcome from the Hoosier State, along the Ohio River.

I have experienced living and working in winter and summer resort towns.
    But not as a planner.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

    Welcome from Chicagoland!!!
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

    Welcome, from Irving, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Welcome from the far northwest suburbs of Chicago!

Say hi to Steven Tyler for me if you're ever in Marshfield.

Steven Tyler has been spotted having dinner in my favorite Mexican restaurant in Harwich. Not by me, unfortunately.

My Assistant applied also. They just got back to her this week, so don't give up hope yet. She chose not to interview -- they are only offering $42,000, not the best you can do 'round these parts for someone with her experience.
