PLEASE READ!!!
Please do not cheat, you can easily view the properties and the answer is there, but please play fair. It is a city in the South of Mexico and it is the only urban center in the state. Good luck!!!![]()

A 'no peek' guess:
Oaxaca?
Mike
Mexico City?
I know that is the easy choice, but I looks so colonial, as a capital city would.

I know it!!!
But only cause I cheated.
Carry on.

I, too cheated-but only because I thought the photograph was so cool I wanted to save it to the hard drive for use as a background. I am acquainted with two gentlemen (through my addiction to folk art) who spend half the year in this city.
and yet another image leecher goes unnoticed
No one has gotten it yet, keep on trying please. Thanks for your honesty and not cheating.
Is it Leon, Guanajuato?
My first impression was Zacatecas. I mean, I lived there! But I figured it wouldn't quite be considered "southern Mexico." I am very disappointed.
I just realized I've been on that very street! I've even been INSIDE that Bancomer on the corner!!!!
I know it.
OFF TOPIC
I wish I could name one street in California that compares to that! I can't but maybe I'm ignorant. The only thing that street is missing, cobblestones.![]()
Zacatecas is right. I apologize that I said it was in south Mexico, Its just since I live in Laredo, Many people consider that the south of Mexico since here it is the north of Mexico.
