Guess The City #291 (Mexico edition)

    PLEASE READ!!!

Please do not cheat, you can easily view the properties and the answer is there, but please play fair. It is a city in the South of Mexico and it is the only urban center in the state. Good luck!!!

    Mexico City?

I know that is the easy choice, but I looks so colonial, as a capital city would.

I, too cheated-but only because I thought the photograph was so cool I wanted to save it to the hard drive for use as a background. I am acquainted with two gentlemen (through my addiction to folk art) who spend half the year in this city.

My first impression was Zacatecas. I mean, I lived there! But I figured it wouldn't quite be considered "southern Mexico." I am very disappointed.

I just realized I've been on that very street! I've even been INSIDE that Bancomer on the corner!!!!

    I know it.

    OFF TOPIC
I wish I could name one street in California that compares to that! I can't but maybe I'm ignorant. The only thing that street is missing, cobblestones.

Zacatecas is right. I apologize that I said it was in south Mexico, Its just since I live in Laredo, Many people consider that the south of Mexico since here it is the north of Mexico.
