Perhaps the best thing about Austin is the Town Lake and the path that hugs its shore.

Very nice pictures. You did a good job of capturing the pleasant side of downtown Austin, but you should have included shots of the surface parking lots, street-level concrete walls, and pedestrian-free, treeless expanses of pavement that account for the vast majority of our downtown. We are headed in the right direction, but it will take a lot of effort to fix what has been broken here.

I love heading to Barton Springs pool because the water stays naturally cool even in the blistering summers.
Canoeing in Lake Austin is a relaxing way to get some exercise.
And of course, the tall Frost Bank tower is one of downtown Austin's big landmarks. Great photos of some Austin landmarks.
