    Trail Nazi has her baby!

Eleanor Grace was born at 6:34 last night, just missing being a Mother's Day Baby. She is 19 in long and 6.5 lbs.

She was born in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Dad was out of town on business and arrived late last night. TN and baby are both doing well.

Hopefully we'll get some pics to post soon, since Mr TN is a photographer.

Wonderful news and congratulations to the all the Trails!

Lovely, classic name for a girl as well.
Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Plop, plop, fizz, fizz -- o' what a relief it is.

Will she be moving soon? TN, take care of yourself and get some sleep every chance you get. My homemake baby wipe recipe is on the way.

BTW, remember that I am you resident Cyburbian lactation consultant. Once I was studying to be a doula.

Congratulations! I'm glad everyone seems to be doing fine!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

    Congrats, glad all is well...
You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone
