Online Certificate Program in Community-Based Development

Does anyone know if this program would be able to be utilized by someone who is going into the planning field in California metropolitan areas? Assuming it is solely 'online' (still waiting to hear from them), I would probably start taking it this summer and continue with the program after I graduate with my bachelor's this upcoming Fall. Any feedback is appreciated, thank you.

note: This program is offered from The International Institute for Sustainable Development (which is run through CSU's Dept. of Civil Engineering)

Also, if you know of any non-graduate certificates available online, please let me know. I only found one or two threads searching and have already checked those out. Thanks!!

I'm not sure if they offer anything on-line, but UC Extension thru Berkeley, UCLA, and Davis offer certificate programs as I recall. CEQA and annual land use update courses were very valuable to me in a former life.
    Annoyingly insensitive
