    Economic development and transit

Obviously TODs have a benefit for public transit and vice versa. Being that economic development programs and policies are different in Canada, probably moreso in Toronto, than in the US, it something difficult to come up with a viable research article on. With my organization being transit specific, there isn't much out there dealing with it outside of TODs. Any other ideas from the planning community?

wow. Portland has done a lot with TOD's!!! I would look at some case studies here. I know Conn. is starting to look at TOD's for it's commuer rail stations.
