    Retired

Many years ago when Dan developed this site it created an excellent source for dialogue and the trend continues.
For the past 20 years I was managing a planning board in Manitoba Canada and the last three years I worked as a CAO for a rural municipality in Manitoba.

Once you make the decision NOT to become a politician our job is quite simple. Administer and enforce your by-laws and have some compassion for your customers and fellow workers. The rest is easy.

I have been retired for two months and have been working on compiling my Zoning Definitions Dictionary that presently consists of 228 pages. One day I will finish it but the summer is too nice and now we spend most of our time at the lake.

    Have a great summer.
    Ed

    Hello, from Irving, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

That sounds like a hoot. Kinda like my neverending genealogical research.
