    Greetings from Berkeley, CA

Hi, I'm a fourth year student at UC Berkeley, with a nerdy love of city planning (I say nerdy because it's something I'm highly interested in for no particular reason). Josie's my name, Baseball's my game, I like houses that don't look the same...yeah. Hi !

Greetings from a Hoosier along the Ohio River. Also a baseball fan currently stuggling with the seven-game losing streak my Cards are amidst. Where are the Dodgers when we need 'em?

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

    Hello, from Irving, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

    Greetings

From Western Arizona.....where many of the houses look exactly the same....because they were built in a factory......barump thump (drum roll)

    Go GIANTS
I can't wait to move to the City and get out of A's territory. I know it's more exspensive, but I believe strongly in the "live, work, play" ideal.

Hey, at least you're still in first in your division. The Giants 9 game slid dropped us from first to last, ugh.

I'm lucky here in Berkeley, the house I live in is over 100 years old, and many of my neighbors are beautiful Julia Morgan designs. I grew up in an LA suburb though, part of what used to be Rancho San Pedro and what is now the most recent LA subdivision, Carson. It's an overgrown truck stop between the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, full of oil refineries, fertilizer factories and tract housing

I like your intro! I don't do baseball but I can empathize with the no housing looking alike thing.

Welcome from central Florida where, unfortunately, all the new houses look the same...

Welcome from Solano County, home of the Million Dollar Tract Home. "But we NEED 4000 square feet in a "prestigious" tract for our family of three, and we moved forty miles from our jobs to afford that."

Welcome from a Detroit Tiger fan that is hanging around in NW Ohio. Being "nerdy" about cities is not so unusual with this roving pack. Stick around, maybe we will learn something.

    Glad you have joined us.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
