    Fall 2008 applications..any other suggestions?

Right now i'm planning to apply to two dual-degree MPA/MUP programs: USC and UNC-Chapel Hill. My interests are in transportation planning(short-term) with an eventual goal of moving into the upper levels of public management in transportation(long-term). Anyone else know any strong MPA or MPP/MUP joint programs I may want to consider? My stats: 3.82 undergrad gpa UC Irvine; 1350 GRE

What about Berkeley? They have lots of transportation people in the planning school, I believe. I'm a student in the MPP program, and I've enjoyed it so far.

Oh, yes, there's no formal dual degree program like MPP/MPH, but there are people who do both degrees in 3 years. I've heard of someone who finished my program last year and did it. You could contact someone at the Public Policy school to get more info about that. I'd say the assistant dean, Martha Chavez, would be your best bet. She's amazing.
