    An outbreak of weirdness today

There must be a severe case of the weirdes today. I read where Dallas is consider allowing natural gas well to be drilled in their city parks. Then I read that in my fair state that they are going to allow state legislators to carry concelled weapons into the capitol. This is after they are going to allow concelled weapons in state parks.
When did I go from Luke Skywalker to Obi-Wan Kenobi?

Well....concealed weapons in the capitol might not be an entirely bad thing

Up there with Kentucky's concealed guns allowed in church.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

I heard on the news some town in Idaho is considering a law that would require all households to have at least one firearm.

Which town? My fiance wants to move back to Idaho, but I don't and will never own a gun.

I saw this morning that NYC and possibly Chicago are looking to ban Trans Fats from all food service.

Yup, they are putting in metal detectors and keeping weapons out of the hands of citizens in the State House (a good idea, IMHO), and allowing legislators to CC (a bad idea, IMHO). Repeat after me: if you aint a legislator, you'n a saicond class cityzen.

    City Legislation

Why is it that the big cities in this country are getting press for legislation like trans-fat? Chicago brought it up a couple of months ago and now New York has brought it up. The legislation seems kind of odd.
Trying to get my grubby hands on as much stimulus money as I can.:D
