    Google Sketchup

First Google went head to head with Map Quest and Yahoo with Google maps, then they brought in satellite images...

Then they took it a step further with Google Earth where they take maps 3D...

Now they build on that and have Google Sketchup which will allow you to make your city 3D and import it into Google Earth. LINKY

My question is who at Google was a former ESRI employee and what will they come up with next.

I think that this is something that we could all use.

I used sketch up to demonstrate setbacks and infill over high-quality aerial photos. It is very usefull for variance cases.
