    2007 Cyburbia Death Pool

It's that time again, friends of the obits.....

The 2006 Cyburbia Death Pool is winding-down. Time to start determining our picks for the death pool in 2007.

This year we will not ask the super mod team to close this thread on January 1. We will just stop accepting lists or updated lists on that date. This Bear will be glad to track the stats in 2007, and keep all who care updated on "dirt sandwich" status.

The usual prize.....much-bally-hooed acclaim from your fellow-Cyburbians. This year I will personnaly throw in another prize.....a margo at Loma Linda's.

Soooooooo......get busy. Get your lists together and post'em while ya got 'em.

So sorry, newbies.....yes, same rules.....pick 10 famous people who will die in 2007.

Hint.....post your list late in December (but before Jan 1).....just in case somebody on your list kicks off in late 2006 and you don't have time to change your list.

I am sure all on my 2006 list will be taking a dirt nap by Jan. 1. I'll have to find 10 others.

Should He Stay Or Should He Go?

The question has been asked.....should we drop Saddam Hussein from the Cyburbia Death Poll 2007? Is it a given that he is toast, based on the news today (that he must hang within 30 days)?

He probably wishes he had a U.S.A. trial. After about 10 years of continual appeals (because justice is so dang "swift" ) he would be released on good gardening behavior.

Let's do this the democratic way. You have to go to the polling place to cast your vote, so it requires some participatory democracy. The polling place is the private message system that you will use to send me your answer. Should he stay on the poll?

Any votes by late New Year's Eve (not sure what I will be doing and where I will be so give me some slack here, OK?) will be counted. Using the private system so we don't get accused of mob post padding.

    Hey, how can we "loose"?
