    Guess the City #330

    Let's stay out west.

Extra points for city, square, and the two great restaurants next to it.

I've eaten at one of them... alas it was 3 years ago and I don't remember the name. I really enjoyed that, despite many buses rolling by, my meal outside was not disturbed.
What luck! A random assemblage of words never sounded less intelligent.

    Any place, USA???

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Joe D was Italian, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't "little"

    And the answer is....

njm and JNA got this one correct in PMs. I'll reveal the city since this thread looks like it died.

The green space is Washington Square in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. Columbus Avenue is the diagonal street. Joltin' Joe DiMaggio was married to his first wife in St. Peter and Paul church north of the square. Two good nearby restaurants are Washington Square Bar and Grill (WashBag) to the west of the square and Moose's to the east.
