    Anyone heard from BKM?

It just dawned on me while reading an older thread that our resident forum leftist curmudgeon BKM hasn't been seen since October 26th.

Anyone know where he's been? It's a lot quieter around here but someone has to stir up Jaws and El Guapo

Habanero has disappeared as well since her move back to Texas... I'll zip her an email to make sure everything is bueno--she's probably still getting accustomed to the new job and all.

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

Yeah...I've been wondering the same thing.

There have been many recent threads presenting the opportunity to rant against contemporary mass architectural design and materials.

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday and I too checked to see when was the last time he posted. Hope all is well with him and he will appear again soon. I always have enjoyed his perspective and his contributions to forums.

BMK went AWOL about the same time El Guapo did. Coincidence? HMMMMMMM ?!?

I see BKM in person almost weekly - I think he is (maybe for the first time ) just busy at his job. I am fairly certain he didn't pull an "El Guapo" - he can't stay away from ANY heated exchange.
