Guess I'll start tossing out some clues. It is upper midwest.

    Cincinnati, OH???
I think I can count 2 baseball diamonds and a football field along that river that tax-payers paid for.
Ahh, the brown Ohio river, I always wondered what made that town smell..

This pic shows pretty much the entire city. You guys are guessing places that are much bigger.

    Platteville, Wisc.

If not it's got to be some place with a railroad, a college, and a river.

Platteville, WI no longer has a railroad and when it did, it only looped around on the city's far east side.

I want to say that this is somewhere in Minnesota, but I am drawing a total blank on this one. I don't recognize it as any place in Wisconsin.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

It is a community college and it is in Minnesota. And even though it is unlikely any of you have been there, I'm sure you've heard of it in a very popular movie.
