Damn the previous poster with faint praise

    Definition

Since there isn't a previous poster at this time, I'll pick someone who can't defend himself.

El Guapo, I don't care what everyone else says. I like you.

You know Dan, how many others would exhibit as much consideration as you by not offering insult to a person who might actually read your post? My Uncle Pete would consider you a True Gentleman! He'd probably tell you himself if he manages gets out on parole.
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

RJ is so well adjusted for somebody barely over 50.
    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

JNA, it's really courageous of you to post here given your low IQ.
As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron. - H.L. Mencken

I really wish I could play this game. Unfortunately, I just can't think of anything about you which I could faintly praise.

That being said, we should all be proud that digger has that flatuence problem under control. It's a tough problem to admit, and digger deserves our respect.

Well, Dan, in point of fact, I hadn't admitted to it, but I should have known that someone as perceptive as yourself would be sure to sniff it out.

Digger is actually quite pleasant for a dermatophyte

Bonus points for a pop culture reference? Please tell me you've seen those awful Lamisil commercials...

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

good to see that Suburb Repairman has mastered the art of seeking approval via bonus points.
