I hope Indianapolis wins. Go Tony Dungy!!!
Trying to get my grubby hands on as much stimulus money as I can.:D
After this weekend I would say it will be NE and Chicago… But the Bears/Saints game will go into overtime and once again the Bears will kick a 40+ yard field goal to win it. The Saints will have a problem with the blizzard like conditions being that they have very little way to train for it beyond standing in a meat locker in Speedos.
When compassion exceeds logic for too long, chaos will ensue. - Unknown
Bears arent winning 2 games in a row. Not w/ Grossman.
This is going to be another lackluster super bowl...the NFC is so bad.
YES!!! Marty-ball lives again!!!!![]()

Peyton Manning Looking Forward To Ninth Annual Super-Bowl-Watching Party
January 18, 2007 | | Onion Sports
INDIANAPOLIS, IN—Colts quarterback Peyton Manning said Monday he is looking forward to wrapping up his football season and relaxing with friends and family while watching the Super Bowl, a tradition that goes back nine years in Manning's house and far longer in his extended family. "I believe in working hard each and every Sunday, but when the Super Bowl rolls around, that's my day to relax," Manning told reporters during a break from preparing for the upcoming AFC championship matchup against the Patriots. "As far as I myself am concerned, it's never gotten any better than spending Super Bowl Sunday watching the big game on TV surrounded by family and friends, like I have ever since I can remember." Manning said that the experience of watching the game was his main source of enjoyment, but if he was forced to choose, he would probably be rooting for Tom Brady to "win another one."

I was afraid some Patriot fan would mention something about that game on Sunday. What a let down! I really thought this was the Chargers year. Now I guess I'd have to say I want the Colts vs. Bears and the big game. I don't want Brees to go b/c it would make the Bolts look bad for getting rid of him and he goes farther than us (although I originally wanted SD to play NO and SD to win). And I dislike the Patsy's after last weekend. Although I don't like Peyton Manning and Rex Grossman either. What a terrrible way to end the season. I guess I would prefer Peyton winning the big game because he deserves it the most. Brady has 3 rings and Rex Grossman should have better season to be called a Super Bowl QB.

Pats Bears rematch. That would be classic. I have a feeling there will be no Super Bowl Shuffle this time around.

A little joke that you all have probably heard before:
Peyton Manning dies and goes to heaven. God greets him "Welcome to heaven, let me show you to your house, you know most people don't get a house here so this is a very special thing" and God shows him a nice little rambler painted blue and white with Colts flags up in the windows. Peyton can't help but notice the mansion up the street with Patriots flags everywhere and he says "I was a record breaking quarterback, how come Tom Brady gets a better house than me?" God replies "That's not Tom Brady's house, that's my house!"
Back when the Colts were bad, the joke in Indy was always:
You know what COLTS stands for? Count On Losing This Sunday.
So my predictions are [drumroll]
Colts 24 Pats 21 (OT). You know who knifes the Pats twice in the same year.
Saints 17 Bears 3. Rex can't string two good games together, especially under this amount of duress.
Saints 27 Colts 20. Too much Deuce on the Loose and Reg-Gie!, Reg-Gie!
[/drumroll]
I have seen
old ships sailing
like swans asleep
10 minutes left and it looks like Rex isn't stringing together 2 wins.... it looks like the Aints are going to lose the game for the BEars.
Go Colts! I hate the Pats. (But you all already knew that).

Congrats to the Colts for winning a wonderfully enjoyable game, despite the outcome.
I for one, hope the Colts do win in 2 weeks, just so we can stop hearing about how Manning can't win big games. The more talented team won last night (unlike last week when the lesser talented Pats beat the Chargers). When I saw that Eric Alexander played as much as he did, I never felt the lead was ever safe.

I was actually surprised Caldwell played so well against the Chargers- since when he was a Charger he dropped the ball moer often than he caught it.
It was very refreshing to see Tom Brady throw that intreception. I was so tired of hearing how he's the greatest clutch player ever and always makes it happen when it counts.
A gift to luckless pedestrian
Go Bears!!
TO: All City Employees
FROM: Mayor
SUBJECT: Colts Casual Friday
It has come to my attention that there's a pretty big football game being played in Miami on Sunday. Oddsmakers say the Colts are going to beat the Bears in the Superbowl, but after that first kickoff it's anyone's guess. So let's get out and support our team! I'm going to get things started right here at the Civic Center. On Friday, all city employees will be allowed- and encouraged- to wear Colts clothes and colors. Then on Sunday night, let's see our Superbowl champion Indianapolis Colts holding that Lombardi trophy high!
This was a real e-mail.
Wonder what would happen if I did not wear those colors ?
