    enterprise Zones or Special Economic Zones

    I would like evryone wid profound knowledge on SEZs or EZs regarding their issues ,problems, socio-economic benefits and all relaetd aspects in the context of urban planning.
    My thesis topic being "' SEZs and their implications". casestudy being Vizag., India.
    Hope ur inputs wld help me out .

    Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Enterprise Zone incentives differ from state to state. In Kansas, the primary incentive is a tax credit for employment and job training. There are dozens of other incentives available through statutory authority (tax exemptions, tax rebates, IRB's, TIF, etc....) and federal programs administered through state offices (HUD stuff), but these are not specific to EZ's in Kansas.

    Perhaps this question needs to be more narrowly defined.
