Greets from the Valley of the Sun

    Hi Guys and Gals

My name is Andy. I'm an undergraduate student at Arizona State in Tempe studying sustainable urban development through ASU's School of Global Studies. I am also taking a number of classes through ASU's School of Planning to get a firm grip on the traditional undergrad planning experience. I am originally from northern MN and yes, did come out to AZ because of the climate, however I've found a lot more here that I like than just the weather!

I look forward to contributing as much as I can given my limited knowledge base and hope to be able to broaden my horizons a bit via the excellent community that is Cyburbia

    Cheers,
    Andy

    Welcome from the Hoosier State.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

I used to live in Phoenix and Tucson. Is seven fall on Mt. Lemon still the place for hippies to gather?

    Hello, from Irving, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

    From Western Arizona

Tempe eh?..........er........don't you mean Phoenix......... What better place to learn sustainable urban development

I visited Tucson for the first time last week......and I liked it......

Might as well get used to the teasing now.....

Hello from the frigid Philly area. I'll be out to Tucson later in the spring for some r-n-r with the family.

Welcome from NW Ohio. We look forward to your posts.

Whereabouts in northern Minnesota do you hail from? That is one of my favorite places in the world. Spent some time (vacationing, canoeing) in the Bemidji area, in the International Falls area, over near tiny little Gary, MN (an ex-wive had relatives and memories at that location), and in the BWCA.
