    New Course in Australia

    G'day Everyone

Approx. 20-students (including myself) are about to undertake the following course:

I am extremely excited at the future learning experiences that this course promises to provide and I look forward to sharing some of these experiences with you as the course unfolds.

    Hooroo, Mark.

    Welcome from Canada!

I hope your program's inaugural year is a good one! Let us know how you like your studies. The student lounge is a great place to start meeting other students with similar interests.

    Hello, from Irving, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

    G'day again, Everyone

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

Fresh from my first official engagement as a new student planner, I have decided to share a few thoughts about the course that have entered my head thus far (not necessarily in chronological order):

    1) I'm so excited!
    2) What on earth have I let myself in for?
    3) Um, where's the next lecture/tutorial/practical/field trip being held?
    4) Hmmm...let's go to the pub!
    5) You want me to read how many pages before Monday?
    6) I'm so tired!

    Hooroo, Mark.
