    Hello from Detroit!

Hello... I thought I would introduce myself in here prior to running amok in the rest of the forums.

A little about myself: My undergrad is in public administration and public policy and I am currently in my first year of the MUP program at Wayne State University (just as the name suggests!); I plan on concentrating in economic development.

    So once again, hello!

Greetings from The Beautiful South™ - I believe you're Cyburbia's eleventy billionth member from Michigan. Enjoy running amok.
I found you a new motto from a sign hanging on their wall…"Drink coffee: do stupid things faster and with more energy"

    Greetings from another Metro Detroiter!
In the beginning there was nothing...then Chuck Norris Roundhouse kicked that nothing in the face and said "Get a job". That is the story of the universe.

Welcome from a native Michigander in economic exile here in Chicagoland!!!

I got my MUP from Michigan in 2002.
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

    Hello, from Irving, TX!

My niece went to Wayne State for one semester of undergrad.
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

    Welcome from the Hoosier State.
    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
