    Ocean front development in Florida

An interesting article regarding the impact of the height of development along the Atlantic Ocean in Florida. The issues are similar in our county but the shadow affect is inland from our highrises because our beaches are south of Gulf front developments. During winter, the adjacent neighborhoods in my county are significantly affected by shadows cast from these behemoths.

View of the beach with a few highrises.

Not to mention, alot of places...ehem....Miami Beach...you have to travel for blocks, just to get access to the beach because these things do not provide access.
