    Ph.D. in Planning

Is there anybody working on a Ph.D. in Planning? I am considering going in that direction. What schools are you attending?
Trying to get my grubby hands on as much stimulus money as I can.:D

I heard that it's quite hard to apply for a phd in planning?

I'm just wondering, do most people who get a Ph.D. in Planning do so because they're interested in teaching it in an academic setting? I just find it interesting, and am curious why and what people do with a Ph.D in Planning afterwards.

I've seen somebody with doctoral degree in Planning at a consulting firm. Do you think it really adds in to their cases in practice compared with somebody else without a doctors?
