    Density bonus and green building

I'm currently conducting some research on municipalities awarding developer's a density bonus for incorporating green elements into their projects... I'm interested in whether or not anyone else has either experience with such practices or has of any thoughts on the subject???

You get one additional dwelling unit in our PUD applications if you are eligible to be LEEDS certified - I can send you our PUD, just PM me -

You may want to look at Nashville, TN's recent changes for Subarea 9 (downtown) that offer FAR bonuses in certain areas for LEED certification at various levels.

Interesting topic. I don't have any experience in this area but I found a short conference paper that may be of interest as it summarises a number of international case studies and then applies the lessons to the New Zealand context. A number of the case studies are from the U.S. - may help point to some places to make contact with?
