11/11, way to good of a score to be a born and raised American. I mean, aren't we supposed to not know this stuff?

Are you saying that your education or APA has failed you ?
    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

I've actually taken the test in front of the INS officer, I think it was only 3 questions, way too easy. It may have been cut short since it was obvious I knew the stuff. Unlike this sample it wasn't multiple choice, just had to answer.

I even got the question I most feared when reading over the question pool:
"What is the purpose of the UN?"

Instead of answering "Providing a forum for bashing the USA while funneling money to corrupt dictators and bureaucrats." I had to bite my tongue and answer the party line "Global forum for solving problems, providing ponies to children across the world, etc etc". Good thing I wasn't hooked to a voice stress analyzer

    11 for 11.

The only one that I wasn't sure of was the last one about when the song was written.

11/11. My son will be taught this stuff and basic geography among other things by me, because I don't think he'll get it in the Baltimore City school system.

Off topic: It's a pet peeve of mine, to see Nebraska abbreviated "Neb.", in the newspaper.

11/11. Passing this test ought to be mandated before you can be declared eligible to vote. Verification of "an informed electorate" so to speak. Might also teach those folks in D.C. that the attack ads are way below us and therefore a waste of money.

    On second thought .... nah.

In Helena's office of the CIS, the hearing examiner has asked ten questions and has a chat with the applicant to see if he/she can converse in English. If the applicant gets the first six answers right, then he stops asking questions. If the applicant misses a question, then the examiner asks questions until there are six right answers or ten questions are answered correctly. I suppose 60 percent is a passing grade.
