Converting census occupation codes to other standard codes

I'm trying to do economic base location quotient calculations and the local data I have is coded with Census Occupational codes which I can translate to SOC codes but all the national data from the economic census is in NAICS and I can't find a good bridge to translate those.

Am I missing something here? Is there another workaround?

I'm not sure I understand. Are you trying to correlate SOC's to NAICS? If so, there is no way to do so. You can find data on the distribution of SOC's by NAICS code, though.

Yes, that's what I'm trying to do. I was hoping that since doing location quotient calculations are a "common" thing that someone might have created a bridge?
