Shaving + driving = crash in Florida Keys

You've heard of the dangers of texting while driving.

But what about the danger associated with shaving while driving?

State troopers responding to a crash in the Florida Keys say a woman shaving her, uh, private area, caused a two-vehicle crash.

What's more, her ex-husband was driving while she conducted her grooming ritual to prepare for a date with another man, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

You can't make this stuff up.

A fire destroyed a garage ... when a spark set a box of fireworks off.

grinding metal inside his garage, which is not connected to his house .... when a spark flew into a large box of fireworks, setting them off.

don’t know how many fireworks were in the garage, they think they had more than usual.

Don't you always use a metal grinder near a box of fireworks ?

Teen trades cell phone for Porsche

I thought this was a pretty funny story. I would love to know the details for each trade. I remember a story like this a few years ago where somebody traded a box of thumbtacks and eventually was able to get a nice furnished house.

Stop, you're cracking me up! Nice of them to include a butt crack picture too, just in case the reader has never seen one.

The victim claimed the clenching caused the bed she was sitting on to break, angering the suspect.
That is some intriguingly strong butt crack clenching action!

    Can we play through?

Plane makes emergency landing on 17th hole of golf course:

    http://www.newsherald.com/news/tooth...ding-17th.html

I guess there are several questions to be asked:
Does the plane count as a hazard or loose impediment?
Is it approved to be used as a golf cart?
How many penalty strokes if your ball lands inside the plane? One like an unplayable lie?
Do I get two club lengths and a freee drop?
What did RJ think when the plane was landing and knocked his ball into the palmetto bushes?
Did "The Man" laugh out loud at RJ's misfortune?

HEADLINE: Pass the Peace: Feuding Neighbors to Hold Potlucks
Decade-Long Neighborhood Feud Turns Violent, Judge Responds With Unusual Verdict

    http://abcnews.go.com/US/feuding-nei...ry?id=11253648

    HIGHLIGHTS:
A Florida judge has ordered neighbors to hold monthly potluck dinners in an attempt to improve relationships and end a long decade long feud--some worry that the supposed-to-be peaceful potlucks may turn into dinners reminiscent of a "Three Stooges" pie fight, or worse.

I wonder if this type of sentencing would work elsewhere ?

Would ZG take this approach in dealing with the barking dogs mentioned in the Random Thoughts ?

This story is dripping in irony.

Santa Rosa electric motorcycle entrepreneur killed

Santa Rosa Police Sgt. Doug Schlief says 29-year-old Matthew Dieckmann was riding an electric motorcycle near the Coddingtown Mall at about 10:40 a.m. Monday when a Toyota Prius collided with the cycle.

Schlief says Dieckmann hit the car's passenger side. He died at the scene.

Police: Frankenstein causes trouble at Ohio concert

    By Associated Press

    POSTED: 01:52 p.m. EDT, Aug 31, 2010

CINCINNATI: Police say a Cincinnati concertgoer threatened them multiple times, then beat his head against a partition inside their cruiser after his arrest.

The 39-year-old man named Forrest Frankenstein appeared Monday before a judge who asked why he ''went crazy'' on a night in which he also allegedly kicked a cruiser window. Frankenstein replied that he had been drinking.

The man also said he didn't really remember anything.

He was at an Aug. 27 concert by country music star Toby Keith, whose hits include a song that states: You ain't much fun since I quit drinkin'.

Frankenstein, from Hamilton in southwest Ohio, was being held Tuesday on $80,000 bond on counts of menacing, disorderly conduct and vandalism.
