It's Friday, I'm bored, here's an aerial shot of where I live (BROADBAND REQ'D)

I live in the suburb of Harehills in Leeds. It's to the north east of Leeds city centre. The X is my castle.

    Anyone else care to share?

    Ahhh....

The countryside in England......hmmm.......as The One drifts off into daydream sequence.......That little burg looks like a cool place to grow up.....let me guess....you were bored out of your mind??

Do English kids who grow up in rural areas learn the fine art of COW tipping???

Let's put it this way The One, I was glad to get off to University at the age of 18. It was a fantastic place to grow up as a kid though (the village I was raised in is also on the map - Burrells), fields to go and run around in, trees to climb, rivers to swim, generally just get lost for the day without mum and dad wittering about where you were.

Appleby has a population of c.2500, Burrells c.100, nearest cinema 13 miles away, nearest decent city 30 miles away...by the time you hit mid-teens the fun starts to wain a little! Although with 12 pubs there was just about enough entertainment to see me through.

Cow tipping - I have no idea what you mean...

    Holy rowhouses, Batman!
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

The ends can justify the means.
