Cell tower ordinance revisions

I'm in the beginning stages of revising the tower/tall structures code for a large Borough in Alaska. I am curious if anyone out there can direct me to other cell tower codes in larger (size, not population) county jurisdictions. I am particularly interested in codes that have seen success with stealth/concealed towers, as one desired result of this revision is to see stealth towers come to fruition in Alaska (currently, there are none).

Any advice or information is greatly appreciated!

Try looking at Santa Barbara or Ventura Counties in California. They may be a bit draconian for Ak, but might be a good starting point to get ideas.

Just don't allow those horrible fake trees (hehe, especially the palm trees ones, I'm guessing they would stand out in your area!). I have found that if you can't stick them in an architectural feature of some sort with RF penetrable walls, sometimes it is best just to paint them to match their surroudings (light blue, tan or white) to minimize their appearance, instead of trying to make some funky looking flag pole, lamp post or other odd looking contraption to disguise them.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been researching a bunch of codes online (or, trying to) and finding that a lot of places either don't address cell towers or don't have ordinances online so the suggestions and the link definitely help. I'll take a look at these examples, thanks again!
