Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone
You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone

"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
Welcome to Cyburbia. How long have you been lurking? If it has been awhile then you know some REAL GOOD "stuff" about many of the folks who hang on these well-tended sidewalks. Your turn to tell us about yourself!
Glad you joined the party.

I am a Florida native that has spent the past 20 years out of the state--most recently Western Pennsylvania--and has finally returned. I've been teaching in a university for many years and consulting on comp plans, redevelopment, and economic development projects. I've now moved into government and am going to give that a shot for a while--academia had become pretty boring for me.
I won't be too specific about where exactly I am so I don't get dragged into some discussions I really don't want to be a part of.
Greetings from another Hoosier, along the right bank of the Mighty Ohio, mile 606.
Thanks for registering and feel free to jump in (the forums, not the river).
Oh come on....Don't want to get into our wonderful threads on planning (or lack of) in Florida? Do not underestimate how important your opion may be to other Florida planners.....
Hey, the general stuff is fine; don't make me defend my board or my boss, that's all I'm saying.
