It is all a matter of perspective!!!

Post off topic but profoundly important statement in proportion to biblical standards. Reference several links to further prove my point.

[Post unflattering photo of the junior senator from New York who is running for president.]

Make ridiculing statement about several left leaning members mentioning that they appear to follow a political viewpoint similar to that which limits freedom as a feeble effort to provide economic equalization with government control.
The most foolish thing one can do this fall is to vote for Clinton or Trump. Wake up, get out of the matrix, and send a message to the political establishment that you won't play their game.

Respond with grammatically incorrect run-on statement (smelling like a "manifesto") that includes off-the-wall references to the Pittsburgh Steelers, sprawl, De Noc growth patterns, baby seals commonality with what this thread so needs, obscure vacation references to pastie munching, coordinated dictionary purchase costs for Stan, and liberty and justice for all.

I cleaned the grime from the inside of my mouse today. It seems to collect incredibly fast. I wonder if this is generic grime or some sort of super grime playing tricks with the arrow on my monitor. I haven't washed my golf clubs in a couple of years. I probably should do that because you never know who's going to come over and the last thing you want them to see is dirty creases on your iron head. I wonder where I put that used tooth brush? I'm sure I've collected a dozen or so and put them in a bag under my bathroom sink. I wonder if I can spare one. They are probably lying next to the balled up mass of used bread ties. Anyway, it gives me something to look forward to this evening. Sure beats the brain rot that is piped into most homes.

Laugh hysterically and make all my coworkers look at me funny, then wonder if I'll ever be creative enough to add to this thread . . .
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

insert catchy phrase here like wtf?

change the subject by catching on a phrase someone made and apologize for it by adding an OT: before starting to move the thread somewhere else that the original thread owner did not want to go

this does remind me about an email joke about threads, though...was it a lightbulb joke?

[Feel both peckish and yet at the same time Out of Original Ideas. Bump hoary old thread that should have died a natural death years earlier. Make ham-handed justification about bumping old threads while comparing this action to Bear Up North's. Insert some dry wit that no one but the poster finds particularly funny.]
