Fragile Fred, Jabba the White, and BeReplaced Foster... High risk dudes!

Still quite a few cherries in the WR area, I'm shocked Clayton was still around... Way too may D players to be reaching unless you've got a lot of info on one in particular.

And ahh... Gus. Where have you gone? We hardly knew you.

How about Lamont Jordan, Ladell Betts, or Brandon Jackson?

LaMont and Dominick, Ladell and Clinton, and Brandon and Verand

I'm not saying they'd be bad to have, but they have downsides. The good RB's are long gone. These guys are back-ups.

They (Ladell and Brandon) are backups behind gimps, they will at least be good for a few weeks and maybe more, haven't seen Dominick on any draft boards as OAKtowns #1....news to me. Someone bit on my Brandon suggestion. I'm just covering scoring positions on my O first this year, trying to keep out of the basement this year and still building for next year keeper-wise.

Oh yeah.... I remember now - you were the one guiding the entire draft last year with all the hints! Well, you got me first place last year - I hope you've done it again this year.

I'm taking a flier on Mr. Jackson. Rookie of the Year? It's hard with our draft being so close to the beginning of training camp.

You're welcome. I was gonna take him in round 9, guess I'll have to find another......dang...

    Not bad, not bad....

A nice run of solid WR's just went off the board: Clayton, Chambers, Jennings, V Jax (solid pick!!), and my favorite (next to V Jax), DJ Hackett. Gotta get a hometown hero (well, close enough) while I can. I had Clayton just a tick ahead of DJ on my board but I think DJ will be more consistent than Clayton (although Clayton will probably win you a few weeks (vs. PIT, CLE & CIN 'specially)).

I am pretty pleased with Roy W, Boldin, Edwards, and Hackett as my starting 4 WR's. Not great but respectable given my QB-RB-RB-RB start. Gore, McGahee, and Bush will be okay as my RB's. Bush is just so-so at this point but in a keeper league, I just couldn't let him go. I thought McAllister would drop to me but he flew off the board; rightfully so, too. This will be the first year that I'll be starting a top tier QB. I have always adhered to the theory that nine QB's will be taken early and then very few in subseqent rounds giving me a few extra semi-studly guys to fill out my #3WR and back-up RB slots (that always pays dividends) before landing the likes of Trent Green in round 8 or 9. I'm stoked about having J. Jones and Marion Barber as my reserve RB tandem. Together they're nothing special but in spot duty and especially if one goes down, I have another bonafide #1 RB on my hands. I had to laugh when Tatum and K Jones went off the board in back-to-back picks a few rounds back. The Lions have become one of the best ff teams. Good QB & WR's and an awesome D to play against. - d'oh! Hey, as a Lion fan, I'll take what I can get! (mastiff - how could you rob me of Calvin!!! I'll draft Furrey and we can trade straight up, okay)

He's suspended the first 4 games is why... But when he gets back, everyone expects he'll be #1. But then, does it matter with Oakland? My 14 year old could get past their O-line!

It'll be good, as a BRONCOS fan, to see (J)Oakland get stomped this season...

It's not a true finish until all the Silly Vikings have checked in, Silly Viking.

We will gladly allow you to finish the draft 1st. When we know that the South Division will still hold the Cyburbia Title at the end of this season!

Looks like we've got some pretty even match-ups this week. Alas, Psychos are playing the 'dog role.
Not to worry, not to worry.

I like the click-and-drag feature this year for loading the roster at Yahoo!. Much easier for stoopids, like me.

    Click and Drag is bitchin!

what are we doing for this years back bacon bowl?

Jeez, Carson Palmer tosses 6 TDs and throws for 401 yds and I figure I'm in the catbird seat. But when I check, I see I have a scant 22 point lead over NHP and he's got Donovan McNabb still to play while I have Antwaan Randle El. Why do I not like my chances?...

Summarizing the woes of my 0-3 team....

Week 1 - got spanked by the Wildfires.

Week 2 - Put up a respectable score....run into Carson Palmer's ridiculous 50 point day for the Psychos.

Week 3 - Put up the second best score of the week, end up playing the Argos, that have the best score of the week.

Maurice Jones-Drew is killing me! If he put up any kind of numbers, I'm 1-2 at worst, and 2-1 at best.

Gonna stick with it for now....it can't continue to be this bad!

My pathetic running game took a hit this week with Steven Jackson being out for the this Sunday's game....

...there goes the 2 game win streak.

That's three weeks in a row I've done that now. I'm waiting for the Heineken truck to arrive with my reward.

I got the Argos on a week where they were merely mortal and we didn't get it done.
