    Greetings from Minnesota!

    Hello Fellow Cyburbians!

My name is Ryan and I am a masters of planning student at Minnesota State-Mankato. I have enjoyed reading the posts on this site and have learned much from them. I decided to finally join and become an active member of the site. I joined about 18 months ago, but never really became active on the site, (plus I forgot all of my log-in info ) I currently have one semester left before I am done with my degree.

After I graduate I am open to moving anywhere a job may take me, maybe even to Canada! I look forward to becoming an active member on this site and learning even more from everyone. Thanks!

    Ryan

Welcome to the site. I found it very helpful when I was finishing up school and looking for my first job.

Welcome from the Hoosier State along the Ohio River.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

welcome from the south shore of massachusetts. i lived in Winona, MN for awhile. the only thing i know about Mankato is from what Laura Ingalls had to share.

i too found this site very useful when i was finishing up my degree and looking for my first job. check out the career advice section for help on interview tips and job info.

Ahhh yes Mankato, the "big city" in Wilder's books . Winona is a beautiful part of the state, with the hills it reminds me a lot of the upstate of SC, where I am orginally from.

    Welcome from Chicagoland!!!
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.

    Hello, from Irving, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
