    Happy Birthday DetroitPlanner

    Happy Birthday !

Take the day off as a Personal Holiday.

    Enjoy Your Day !
    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
    From Kelly's Heroes (1970)

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
    From Electric Horseman (1979)

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

    Happy Birthday.

For task, for the ultimate rush, is to drive a Honda through Flint, MI wearing a shirt that says American Cars Suck!

Just kidding! Hape everything goes well!
You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone

Ooh ooh! I know the answer. You see, "Hondas" are things that very closely resemble cars. I've seen them in my travels around the world. In fact, you will find more Hondas on the road than GM's when you drive around other countries like Japan and California.

I have to make it to that California place someday. BTW, if you go to Ireland the most common name plates you see are Opel (GM) and Ford. I can even remember seeing one car that looked like a Taurus on steroids. I also had a Mercury Sable chasing my up a windinng road, none to happy with my inability to be comfortable with right-hand drive, narrow roads, and tall rock fences!

Happy (belated) birthday to my friend, DetroitPlanner. Hope you had a nice birthday.

I see that the city of Detroit celebrated your birthday week by opening a new casino and shooting off some fireworks. You are obviously well-liked in MoTown.

Happy Birthday! Take a walk on the wild side. Back in the day, that used to be John R or Beaubien but I doubt that's walking territory these days.

I think it's an acronym for Hot On New Detroit Automobiles.

Actually the area of which you speak is pretty well yuppified these days. Lots of $200 a square foot condos, Comerica Park, Ford Field are located there.
